The first “best rider of the month” … Congrats to Yevu!
The management of INSTINCT Media Ghana made good its promise to the trikademik riders by instituting the “Best Rider Award” each month.
It’s now the end of the first month’s operations so it was about time the ceremony kicked off…
At a brief but interesting awards ceremony held at the Trikademik storage facility in the village of Kodzeto last Wednesday, the award (a nicely framed photograph of the winner and the cash prize of Five Ghana cedis – GHC5.00) was presented to Yevu Joseph Gameli by Ernest, the Trikademik Project Manager, in the presence of his colleague riders, the team leader Gideon, and Magali Bongrand the CEO of INSTINCT global.
Yevu Gameli was quite clearly not expecting to be adjudged the first Best Rider for the month, and had surprise written all over his face
At the same time, he could not hide his excitement and great appreciation for the award and received prolonged applause from his colleagues and others present. This was after Ernest had explained the criteria and the basis for the decision to adjudge Yevu as the first winner…
Against the background of professional behavior, Yevu Gameli was said to have won based on the following;
• Great leadership skills
• Great team work attitude and spirit
• Practical demonstration of commitment to the success of the project
• Consistent punctuality and regularity to work throughout February
• Achieved the most significant increase in sales within the month, and
• Daily reporting to the INSTINCT servicing and repair workshop without failure in the month in question.
• Maintained a very good relationship with all of the children assigned to him for the free school transport, and sent each of them to school every school day of the month.
In his acceptance statement, Yevu Gameli expressed his deep appreciation for the award and indicated that is going to really motivate him to work even harder. He later made a commitment to remain loyal to the project and contribute to ensuring that the project succeeds, despite the usual challenges associated with any new organization/project.
It is the expectation of INSTINCT, it seemed that his colleagues equally felt motivated by the award, although they did not win this time around. The winner has been given a printed copy of his framed photograph, with the framed one hanging in the storage facility till the next winner is declared.
So Who’s next???
